Larry of Topeka, Kansas was deployed years ago. He set to sea for the US Coast Guard and left a small daughter at home. When he returned from his service his sweet little girl didn't even know him. She ran to her mother's arms and cried.

Years later Larry's son Daniel was on his second deployment for the US Airforce, the difference this time was his newborn daughter was given a special pillow with her daddy's picture on it.  She slept with it every night. When Daniel returned, his precious daughter knew who he was because she had fallen asleep every night with her daddy in her arms. 

AmericanHeroHugs was created after witnessing how hard military deployments are on our HEROES and their families. With the many friends and family we have that serve in the military, we understand the effects an absent HERO has on their families.

Our hope at AmericanHeroHugs is to give EVERY child their HERO when they can't be there in person. AmercianHeroHugs provides a way for your HERO to hug you by day, and shine on you by night!
